Full Description
The purpose of the Abandoned Mine Land (AML) Program is to protect public health and safety by safeguarding and/or permanently remediating environmental and physical Abandoned Mine Land (AML) hazards on BLM and mixed ownership lands in New Mexico. The recipient must have the capability to perform such task including identification of AML sites throughout New Mexico, design AML closures, resource clearances, contracting closure work and project supervison.
