Full Description
The Genetic Evaluation of the Southeastern Oregon Clade of Columbia Spotted Frogs project will investigate and clarify the distribution of the Columbia Spotted Frog at a fine geographic scale. With the results from this project, the BLM will have a better understanding of this species and know better about where and how to mange metapoputations and habitat. It is anticipated that award will be made to a member of the Rocky Mountains Cooperative Ecosystems Studies Unit. CESUs are partnerships with colleges and universities that provide research, technical assistance, and education.
