Secretary’s Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS09-906 CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) to Improve the Delivery and Effectiveness of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Prevention Services for High-Risk and/or Racial/Ethnic Minority Populations.” Approximately $22,500,000 will be available to fund approximately 28 awards. The purpose of the program is to build the capacity of organizations to operate optimally and to provide evidence-based interventions and public health strategies that can help reduce the burden of HIV infection among high-risk and/or racial/ethnic minority populations with the U.S. and its Territories. The estimated funding date is prior to September 30, 2009.
