This cooperative agreement awards $1,094,842 in residual TEA-21 funding from Fiscal Years 1999 and 2000 that was previously deobligated by NCDOT from the Sealed Corridor Initiative under cooperative agreement DTFR53-96-H-00047 for the closure of the Byrdsville Road at-grade crossing in Orange County, NC (the Project). FRA will fund 100% of the work in this Project for a total cost of $1,094,842.
