Full Description

Tribal Youth Program Training and Technical Assistance provides training and technical assistance to the grantees of OJJDP's Tribal Youth Program (TYP); American Indian tribes, as defined in 25 U.S.C. 450(b)e; and Alaska Native communities (hereafter collectively referred to as tribal communities). TYP training and technical assistance is designed to help tribal communities develop comprehensive, systemic approaches that reduce juvenile delinquency, violence, and child victimization and increase public safety.
