Full Description
Under Category 1 of this solicitation, OVC seeks applications from state or tribal jurisdictions to identify the state or tribe’s greatest barriers to identifying and assisting child and youth victims of sex and labor trafficking and/or to investigating and prosecuting these cases, and to develop a statewide or tribal jurisdictionwide strategy to address these challenges. The applicant funded under Category 2 will provide training and technical assistance and resources to support OVC and all OVC grantees funded under the Improving Outcomes for Child and Youth Victims of Human Trafficking program (Both those newly funded in FY 2018 under Category 1 and the six previously funded grantees). OVC expects to make up to three awards under Category 1 of up to $1.5 million with an estimated total amount awarded of up to $4.5 million. Under Category 2, OVC expects to make one award for up to $600,000.
