Full Description

Recovery Act - The objective of this project is to improve fish passage and other aquatic species access past culverts in streams in the Umpqua Basin on both public and private lands through the replacement of worn or otherwise undersized culverts. These replacement culverts will also provide for better hydrologic flow during peak storm events. Through funding provided by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009, this project will promote economic recovery; assist those most impacted by the recession; provide investment in transportation, environmental protection, and other infrastructure, that will provide long-term economic benefits within the Umpqua Basin.
