Full Description
Government of Rwanda takes a proactive role in prevention, care and treatment with national ART coverage at 94% for adults and 50% for children receiving treatment. As of July 2017, 577 sites offer Voluntary Counseling and Testing, 542 sites offer Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission and 554 sites offer ART services. The purpose of this NOFO is to support a sustainable, affordable, integrated, and country-led HIV/AIDS clinical and public health program in Rwanda. The funding through this NOFO will assist the Rwandan MOH in strengthening its national health systems through planning, implementation and monitoring of integrated health services, provision of high quality HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Treatment services as well as working towards epidemic control and reaching 95,95,95 goal.
Funding will support identification of HIV infected persons, strengthen the linkage and retention to ART treatment and, maintaining adherence to treatment to ensure viral load suppression.
