Full Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Uganda is seeking applications to fund one or more organizations through a five-year Cooperative Agreement to support Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in East Central Uganda as described in Section I of this RFA. The authority for the RFA is found in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended. Subject to the availability of funds, USAID intends to provide up to $57,000,000, to be allocated over the five-year period. USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted and expects one award as a result of this solicitation; however, more than one award may result.

This is a full and open competition, under which any type of organization, large or small, commercial (for-profit) firms, faith-based, and non-profit organizations in partnerships or consortia, are eligible to compete. In accordance with the Federal Grants and Cooperative Agreement Act, USAID encourages competition in order to identify and fund the best possible application(s) to achieve program objectives.
