Full Description

The objective of this Request for Proposals is to seek partners with whom Reclamation can partner in implementing improved water management/water conservation activities. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, is requesting proposals to fund projects for activities in support of its Water Conservation Field Services Program (WCFSP) within the Lower Colorado Regional Area (LCRA). The LCRA includes Southern Nevada, Northwestern Arizona, and Southwestern Utah, and any other areas supported by the Regional Office, which is located in Boulder City, Nevada. All applicants seeking funds through the WCFSP will be rated using the selection criteria in Section VI of the attached Announcement.

Applicants may request any amount in Federal funding, however agreements are generally limited to a maximum of $100,000. Reclamation retains the right to make awards on a case-by-case basis. The announcement was modified on 11/9/09 to add specific information about the Public Law 111-11, which is the authorization that will be used for grants under the Water Conservation Field Services Program.
