Full Description

CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Capacity-Building Assistance for Global HIV/AIDS Microbiological Laboratory Program Development through Technical Assistance Collaboration under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $5,000,000 will be available to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to progressively build an indigenous, sustainable response to national HIV epidemics through the rapid expansion of innovative, culturally-appropriate, high-quality HIV/AIDS prevention and care interventions, and to support laboratory capacity building assistance for HIV/AIDS program development through technical assistance as part of PEPFAR.
