Full Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission for the West Bank and Gaza posts this Request for Information (RFI) to: 1) Obtain feedback to inform USAID’s future Nita M. Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Act (MEPPA) program; 2) Identify areas of capacity building that local (Palestinian and Israeli) organizations might need (such as: organizational structure; procurement systems and processes; human resources management; financial management, operations, and internal control structures; guidance on application preparation; administrative matters and compliance; activity planning, monitoring, and learning; networking and consortium-building support; conflict management; cross-cultural dialogue; convening skills; communications training; etc.) to enhance and/or further improve performance in implementing MEPPA programs and to encourage more local organizations to participate in future funding opportunities; and 3) Identify local organizations that have experience delivering capacity building activities for civil society organizations and who might be interested in supporting MEPPA peacebuilding activities.
